In addition to building models, I also enjoy collecting diecast cars. The only hitch is that I like to stick with 1/24 & 1/25 scale, scales that are often overlooked by reviewers but still popular with collectors. This section is devoted to those cars, and will hopefully introduce collectors to some diecasts they might not have know about.
Anything and everything from the 1/24 scale world is fair game here, including new and old cars, toys, and even non-car replicas. If you know of a 1/24 scale die cast that you think should be covered, send me an e-mail and let me know about it.
About Scoring:
Each diecast is judged in ten categories: packaging design, packaging durability, body casting quality, interior casting quality, chassis casting quality, engine casting quality, exterior paint quality, interior paint quality, trim/graphics quality, and overall panel fit. These individual scores are added up and averaged to provide the final rating. If a replica is not gradable in a particular category (such as a car without an opening hood in the "engine casting quality" category), an "N/A" is entered.
