After completing Cheetara, and seeing that the same artist who made that file also had one for Steelheart, it seemed only fitting to try my hand at a sequel. As before, Steelheart was printed without her base and sized to be 1/24 scale. Both the "regular" and "battle mask" heads were included with the file, but beyond that the only separate part was the organic forearm.

I revisited the technique I first tried with the Silhouette. This time I went with a Light Gunmetal Base, and applied shadows and highlights before spraying the whole thing with a couple coats of TS-72 Clear Blue. Once that had plenty of time to set up, I went over the face and forearm with a black base followed by skintone and detail work...I'm still not where I want to be skill-wise, but I finally feel like I'm at least getting a hang of what *should* be happening here. The final details were the bands on her arm and leg, done with Folk Art's "Ocean Cruise."
