An offshoot of Kotobukiya's Frame Arms figures, their Frame Music kit uses the same basic assembly style of layering multiple small parts to reduce the amount of paint required to finish the figure. Miku is cast in four colors: black, white, skintone, and teal. A clear sprue is also included, with parts to create a support stand for more dynamic poses. As with Gourai, the casting was excellent and part gates were done smartly to minimize their impact on the finished figure. Also like Gourai, their small size was the most difficult part of the build: about 60 separate parts are used to asemble her, many of which are no more than a few millimeters across.

Even with all the parts, Miku needed several additional paint details. Only her hair, tie, and right glove top were cast in teal, so the myriad other details such as the cuffs, heels, hem, and accents all needed to be painted. I mixed up a custom color for these, and also painted the black on her torso, red on her electronics, and white on the bottom tails of her shirt. Decals were provided for her forearm panels and left arm. She was then sprayed with a light layer of Dullcote and further touched up with Tamiya weathering effects.
