If I Lose This Race, I Can Blame It on You

Although I've done several quick-build models, they've generally been customs, prepainted diecasts, or some other project that gave me a head start. I'd never tried a true 24-hour build of a traditional styrene kit that required paint and glue. I'm still not quite brave enough to try that, but I did want to try something that challenged my tendency to get sidetracked (after all, that's the whole point of my builds this year). So I decided that Revell's CART Reynard, this one kind of in the "WIP" pile thanks to some water damage that ruined its box and decals, was a good candidate to try turning into a 72-hour build (spoiler alert, I didn't make it).
