When building Dale's RV, the biggest problem with it was the too-short wheelbase and overhang. In the season 2 finale, when it (and Hershel's farm) is destroyed, the producers used a smaller version as a stand-in for the RV. So technically, McFarlane Toys recreated an accurate model after all.
